* Players should wear appropriate workout clothing, and bring "gym" shoes, kneepads, water or Gatorade, snacks and a completed Player Medical Release Form (unless already on file) to all camps.
We will separate players based on age and ability with the following guidelines in mind:
Court #1: Juniors (Rookies) - this court is designed to introduce volleyball to our junior players by teaching them the fundamentals and skills of the sport. We will provide simple instructions with structure for player development. The focus will be fun and learning.
Court #1: Juniors (Elementary) - the instruction for these players are focus on developing core techniques and volleyball concepts with a target of honing their skills and abilities. We recommend this for players who have a general foundation and understanding of volleyball.
Court #2: Youth Impact Player (Intermediate) - this court is geared to players with ball control that have a love of the game and want to become an "impact" player on the court. The instruction will focus on fine-tuning skills, knowledge, strategies, playing concepts and volleyball movements on the court. We recommend this for players who have a well-rounded knowledge of the game and are ready to move to higher paced training.
Court #3: Advanced Player (Veteran) - for the experienced player, this court emphasizes not only on the fundamentals of volleyball but strategy, anticipation and game situations. The instruction will focus on progressive concepts for players that are highly skilled, have advanced court awareness and game knowledge. We recommend this court for players that are able to handle physical conditioning, fast paced high energy, intense reps that have mastered the game at the intermediate level.
